Caravan cleaning Hull-wide, from CaSSOA compounds to coastal holiday parks

Hull has a stronger link with caravans than most places. Swift Group is based in Cottingham, while Willerby builds thousands of static caravans each year at its Hedon Road site. Even so, finding someone to clean a caravan properly can be harder than finding the spare keys when you are already late. Caravan Cleaning Services provides mobile cleaning for touring caravans, motorhomes and statics across Hull and East Yorkshire, including homes, approved storage compounds and holiday parks.

Cleaning caravans in the heart of East Yorkshire's manufacturing country

Caravans are a familiar sight around Hull. They travel along the A63, sit in secure compounds near the city and fill holiday parks towards the coast.

The local weather leaves its mark. Damp conditions encourage algae on shaded panels. Winter storage creates black streaks beneath roof edges and window seals. Road spray settles around wheels, lockers and lower bodywork.

We clean caravans where they are parked, using methods suited to their construction.

Serving owners near Swift Group in Cottingham and Willerby's Hedon Road site

Hull's manufacturing heritage is relevant because caravan bodywork needs different care from brick, concrete or a commercial van.

A touring caravan, motorhome or static may have acrylic windows, decorative decals, mastic joints and lightweight cladding. These parts can be damaged by harsh chemicals or excessive pressure.

Our work is limited to cleaning. We do not repair bodywork, reseal joints, treat damp, move static caravans, sell vehicles or provide valuations. Where we notice visible damage, we can point it out so you can contact a qualified repair specialist.

Mobile caravan cleaning in Hull for tourers, motorhomes and static caravans

Our mobile service comes to your caravan. This may be at your home, an approved storage site or a holiday park that allows outside contractors.

We bring our own water and cleaning equipment, so access to a nearby tap is not normally required. We still need safe working space and permission from the landowner or site operator.

Touring caravan exterior valets usually start from £70 to £85. A neglected caravan that needs a first-time deep clean may cost £240 to £325. All prices are confirmed after we assess the size, condition and location.

Exterior caravan cleaning at home, in storage or before your next trip

An exterior clean can cover the roof, front and rear panels, sides, exterior windows, lights, trims, wheels and wheel arches. The agreed quote will state exactly what is included.

It is useful before a holiday, after a long season on the road or before a caravan goes into winter storage. It also suits owners who have been meaning to arrange a clean for months but keep finding more exciting jobs, such as sorting the garage.

For a more detailed finish, see our caravan valeting service. Interior cleaning can be added from £35 to £60.

Motorhome cleaning for bodywork, roofs, windows and wheels

Motorhomes collect insect marks, road film and dirt across a larger area than most touring caravans. Their height can make safe home cleaning difficult without suitable equipment.

Our motorhome cleaning service starts from £90 to £120 for an exterior valet, depending on length and condition. Motorhomes longer than 7.5 metres are priced on application.

We clean exterior surfaces only unless an interior add-on has been agreed. We do not carry out repairs, servicing or mechanical work.

Static caravan cleaning for holiday homes exposed to the East Yorkshire coast

A static caravan stays on its pitch throughout the clean. We do not move or transport statics.

Our static caravan cleaning service is suited to holiday homes affected by algae, salt deposits and weather staining. Shaded sides, window frames and roof edges often show the build-up first.

When several owners book together at the same park, a trade or group rate of around £30 to £45 per wash may be available.

Why we never jet wash caravan bodywork

At least one Hull firm advertises caravan jet washing. A powerful jet may sound efficient, but caravan panels and joints are not designed to be cleaned like paving slabs.

High pressure can force mastic sealant out of joints and create a route for water ingress. It can lift decals and leave acrylic windows crazed with fine cracks.

How high pressure can damage mastic joints, decals and acrylic windows

Pressure damage is not always obvious at the time of cleaning. A weakened joint may still look tidy from ground level. Water can then find its way in during later rain.

A lifted decal or marked acrylic window may also become clear only after the surface has dried.

Pressure washing has a place on suitable hard surfaces. It does not belong on caravan or motorhome bodywork.

Low-pressure pure water and soft brushes for a safer clean

We use low-pressure pure water and soft brushes. This gives us more control around windows, vents, trims, cladding joints and seals.

Stubborn marks may need repeated gentle cleaning or a suitable caravan-safe product. That takes longer than blasting the panel, but it is far less likely to leave an expensive problem behind.

Caravan storage Hull cleaning at CaSSOA compounds and secure sites

Many Hull owners keep their touring caravan away from home. Cleaning it at the compound can save an unnecessary towing trip.

Always check whether the site allows outside cleaners. Some compounds ask for insurance details, restrict access hours or require the owner to attend.

Our storage-site valeting service explains how individual and grouped compound bookings work.

Batch cleaning visits at Cavewood Grange in North Cave

Cavewood Grange is a Platinum CaSSOA site near North Cave, off the A63, with about 380 pitches.

A site of that size is well suited to grouped cleaning days. When several owners book together, we can spread travel across the visit. Suitable group or repeat washes may qualify for the £30 to £45 compound rate.

Caravan valeting near Catfoss and Manor Farm in Brandesburton

Catfoss Caravan Storage serves owners from Hull, Beverley, Hornsea and Bridlington. Manor Farm is a Gold CaSSOA site in Brandesburton.

We can arrange caravan valeting near these compounds when the operator permits it. When requesting a quote, send the caravan size, storage location and clear photographs of each side and the roof edge.

Cleaning appointments for caravans stored at Hull Marina

Hull Marina is also CaSSOA-listed. Cleaning there depends on site permission, safe access and enough room to work around the caravan.

Clear photographs help us price the job accurately. Include close-ups of heavy algae, black streaks or roof growth rather than relying on "a bit grubby", which can mean almost anything.

Static caravan cleaning east of Hull

Holiday parks east of Hull face wind-driven rain, open coastal air and salt deposits. Seaward-facing static caravans can need attention sooner than sheltered units inland.

Visible specialist supply is limited, and many static owners still rely on personal recommendations. Group bookings make planned park visits more practical.

Cleaning for owners at Patrington Haven Leisure Park

Patrington Haven Leisure Park is an owners-only park covering about 40 acres and has been family-run since 1984.

We can clean a static on its pitch when access has been approved. Owners may not need to be present if the scope, access and payment arrangements have been agreed beforehand.

Exterior care for statics at Burton Constable Holiday Park

Burton Constable Holiday Park is also owners-only. Regular static cleaning can help keep cladding, windows and exterior trim presentable between visits.

Decking, gutters and awnings are not automatically included. These can be quoted separately where suitable.

Removing salt film and green algae at Withernsea Sands

At Withernsea Sands, salt can settle on exposed panels while algae forms on shaded sides and around window frames.

An awning clean and reproof starts from £60 to £75+, depending on size and condition. The static remains in place during all work.

Owners travelling farther south along the coast may also find our Mablethorpe caravan cleaning page useful.

What is included in our caravan valeting Hull service?

The quote will list the agreed work. Caravan size, roof access, surface condition and the amount of built-up dirt all affect the final price.

A first-time deep clean costs more because old algae, black streaks and roof deposits often need several careful passes.

Roof, side panels and front and rear bodywork

Caravan roofs collect leaves, moss, algae and dirty standing water. Much of this is hidden from view until somebody gets high enough to inspect it.

We clean safely reachable roof areas, along with the front, rear and side panels, using low-pressure methods.

Windows, wheel arches, trims and external fittings

Exterior acrylic windows, lights, trims, wheels and wheel arches can be included in the valet.

We work carefully around seals, vents, lockers and fittings. No strong jet is directed at window edges or body joints.

Black streak, algae and general road-grime removal

Black streaks often need a suitable cleaning product and steady brushing. Algae may return quickly on a shaded pitch, so regular light cleaning can be more economical than leaving it until the panel is heavily covered.

For owners considering longer-lasting protection, ceramic coating starts from £250 to £550. The final cost depends on preparation, vehicle size and condition.

When to arrange caravan cleaning in Hull and East Yorkshire

The right time depends on how the caravan is used and stored.

Common booking points include the start of the touring season, the end of a long summer or the first signs of algae on a coastal static.

End-of-season cleaning before winter storage

An end-of-season clean removes road film, insects, organic matter and surface dirt before the caravan sits through winter.

Cleaning may also reveal cracked trim, worn seals or other visible issues that dirt had hidden. We can highlight what we see, but repairs, resealing and damp treatment must be handled by another specialist.

Pre-season cleaning before collection or your first trip

A pre-season clean means the caravan is ready when you collect it. It also saves spending the first morning of your break scrubbing old streaks while everyone else is asking where the kettle went.

Spring dates can book up early, especially when several owners at one compound choose the same visit.

Park and compound cleans grouped into the same visit

Hull is close to the edge of our roughly 100-mile service ring from Leicestershire. Visits are therefore arranged in batches rather than as isolated journeys.

Several bookings at one compound or park make the trip more efficient and may reduce the cost per vehicle.

How batch visits keep mobile caravan cleaning practical at the edge of our service area

A batch visit means completing several suitable jobs in the same area on one planned trip.

One visit may cover North Cave and Brandesburton. Another may focus on Patrington, Withernsea or nearby holiday parks.

Grouping several bookings at Hull compounds and holiday parks

A storage manager, park operator or group of owners can request a shared cleaning date.

We confirm the vehicle details, access and service required for each booking. Group rates work best when the caravans are close together and the requested cleans are similar.

Planning your clean around access, water supply and site rules

Tell us about gates, barriers, pitch restrictions and permitted working hours before the appointment.

We usually bring water, but we still need enough safe space around the caravan. Strong winds, ice or unsafe roof conditions may limit what can be completed on the day.

Why Hull owners choose a specialist caravan cleaner

Caravan bodywork needs more care than many general exterior surfaces. Experience with patios or commercial vehicles does not automatically mean someone understands acrylic glazing, decals and mastic joints.

We focus on caravan, motorhome and static exterior cleaning using controlled methods.

Cleaning methods suited to caravan seals, cladding and acrylic windows

Soft brushes and low pressure reduce the risk of forcing water into joints. Suitable cleaning products also help avoid dulling panels or marking trims.

The aim is to remove dirt without creating another job for a repairer.

Mobile appointments where your caravan is already parked

You do not need to tow the caravan across Hull purely for a wash.

We work at suitable homes, approved storage sites and static pitches. Owners farther west can read about our mobile coverage on the Sheffield caravan cleaning page.

Clear preparation advice before the cleaner arrives

Remove loose items from around the caravan and close windows, rooflights and external lockers.

Tell us about damaged fittings, fragile decals or known leaks. Confirm site permission and send recent photographs. A roof described as "slightly green" sometimes turns out to have started a small allotment.

Frequently asked questions about caravan cleaning Hull services

How much does caravan cleaning in Hull cost?

A touring caravan exterior valet starts from £70 to £85.

Motorhome exterior valets start from £90 to £120, depending on length. Motorhomes over 7.5 metres are priced on application.

Interior add-ons start from £35 to £60. First-time deep cleans usually cost £240 to £325. We confirm the price after checking size, condition and access.

Can you clean my caravan at a CaSSOA storage site?

Yes, provided the compound allows outside contractors and there is safe access.

Check with the site before booking. Group visits at Cavewood Grange, Catfoss, Manor Farm or Hull Marina may qualify for a compound rate.

Do you provide static caravan cleaning at parks near Withernsea?

Yes. We clean suitable static caravans at approved parks around Withernsea and the wider East Yorkshire coast.

The static stays on its pitch. Access must be agreed with the park before the appointment.

Can you clean several caravans during one compound visit?

Yes. Group bookings are encouraged.

When several caravans are cleaned at one compound or park, rates may start from £30 to £45 per wash.

Do you need access to a water supply?

Usually not. We bring our own water and mobile equipment.

We do need safe access and enough space to work around the vehicle.

Is jet washing safe for a caravan or motorhome?

No, not on the bodywork.

A strong jet can dislodge mastic, drive water into joints, lift decals and craze acrylic windows. We use low-pressure pure water and soft brushes instead.

What is the difference between caravan cleaning and caravan valeting?

Cleaning removes exterior dirt, algae and road film.

Valeting is more detailed and may include windows, wheels, trims, stubborn marks and an agreed interior add-on. Your quote will list the exact work.

How often should a coastal static caravan be cleaned?

Many coastal static owners book once before the main season and again near the end.

A shaded or exposed pitch may need more frequent cleaning because algae and salt build up faster.

Can I book motorhome cleaning at my home in Hull?

Yes, where there is safe access and enough room to work.

Send your postcode, the motorhome length and recent photographs so we can provide an accurate guide price.
