This policy explains what personal information Caravan Cleaning Services (caravancleaningservices.co.uk) collects when you use this website or book a clean, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect the minimum we need to quote for and carry out the work.
Who we are
Caravan Cleaning Services provides mobile cleaning and valeting for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, static caravans and awnings across Leicestershire, the East Midlands and neighbouring counties. You can contact us about anything in this policy on 07758 153074, seven days a week.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, the caravan's location (town or postcode), photos of the caravan, and anything you tell us about its condition or access. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence.
Our website also collects limited technical data automatically — IP address, device and browser type, and how you move through the site — through the services listed below.
How we use your information
- To prepare your quote and, if you accept it, to arrange and carry out the clean — this is performance of a contract with you.
- To keep records of completed work for accounting and tax purposes, which we are legally required to hold.
- To improve the website, based on our legitimate interest in running the business efficiently.
- To respond when you contact us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing lists.
Photographs
Photos you send are used to prepare and confirm your quote. We may also photograph a caravan before and after cleaning as a record of the work. We will not publish a photograph of your caravan — on this site, in our gallery or anywhere else — without asking you first.
Services we use
- Hotjar — anonymised session recordings and heatmaps so we can see where the site confuses people.
- Google Places — the address suggestions in our quote form.
Each provider only receives what it needs to perform its function, and each is bound by its own published privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed work are kept for the periods tax and accounting law require, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Call 07758 153074 or use the contact page.
